Best Moveset: Bug Bite/ Heavy Slam
It's possible to catch Forretress in the wild, but if you have one, you likely evolved it from a Pineco. Known as the bagworm Pokémon, Forretress is both a Bug type and a Steel type. This means it has good defenses and offers many resistances to types like Grass, Psychic, Dragon and more. Bug and Steel typing also means that it is, unfortunately, doubly weak to Fire-type attacks. Same with skaramory and a few others with lower max cp. This mons have minimal weakness and like with forretress have rock and ground moves to cover them. Yes they sit lower in gyms traditionally but if you max them out they could seemingly be really potent defenders surrounded by the right group of teammates.
Quick Move
Bug Bite (Bug)
Struggle Bug (Bug)
Charge Move
Heavy Slam (Steel)
Earthquake (Ground)
Rock Tomb (Rock)
You could try to take down Snorlax for sure. You could defeat also Vaporeon and Exeggutor if you dodge properly (but always keep in mind Cp difference). For Dragonite it's a bit hard, you could make him some damage but don't think could defeat him.
