The first indication that Unown spawn rates may have been boosted came fromThe Silph Road supeddit, in a thread titled: “Has the unown spawn rate been subtly increased?” In their post, the OP made reference to the fact that according to their city-wide scanner, Unown were spawning
much more frequently than normal.“Where I live has a city-wide scanner, and between gen 2’s release and last Friday we had seen a total of 12 unown. Since Friday, we’ve had an additional 5, taking the total number to 17,”
“That’s almost 1/3 of the spawns since gen2 coming in the last 3 days. Has anyone else with large-scale scanners noticed an increase in the spawn rate, or has RNGesus just paid a visit to my city over the weekend?”reported Reddit user Preachey.

“Yesterday, an Unown spawned. Ofcourse i put my shoes on and ran as fast as i could to catch it. And i did 😀 6 hours later, another one spawned. That’s 2 in 1 day. 1 More spawned this morning. That’s 3 within 24 hours, compared to 0 in 80 days before.”Since this information is still very fresh, it’s far too early to be making any conclusions just yet .But what do you think?
