10 Popular Pokemon that Everyone Can't Stop Catching Them in Wild
1. Dragonite (Max CP 3581)
Dragonite is the most powerful Flying Type and Dragon Type Pokemon in Pokemon Go. With the second best Attack stat in the game and strong Defense and Stamina, there's a reason why Dragonite tends to sit at the top of any Level 10 gym. Dragonite's most powerful attack is the Flying-Type move Hurricane, which is even more of a reason to hunt one down if you're looking for a great supreme Pokemon.
2. Lapras (Max CP 2603)
Lapras got a bit of a nerf in a recent balance update, but it remains one of the most useful Pokemon in the game thanks to its Water/Ice dual typing. Lapras is a must-have Pokemon in
Pokemon Go, largely because its one of the few Pokemon that can effectively take out the Dragonite that lurk towards the top of nearly every gym.
3. Machamp (Max CP 2889)
With great Attack and Stamina stats, Machamp is the perfect counter to wiping out Snorlax and Blissey from gyms and is also a viable top-level play in gyms. Machamp's biggest disadvantage is that its potential moveset contains two Steel-Type attacks, so there's a very good chance your Machamp will wind up with a move that doesn't have a same type attack bonus.
4. Blissey (Max CP 3219)
Blissey is like Chansey on Hulk-serum, so that makes it a super-high HP fortress. Dazzling Gleam is the best defensive charge move but put any Blissey on a Gym and friend and foe alike will hate you, as they throw Pokémon after Pokémon at Blissey trying to dislodge or prestige it. And it better be high damage-per-second (DPS) 'Mon as well, because time runs out in Pokémon Go after 90 seconds. Yeah, it's fun and frustrating to be a wall.
5. Snorlax (Max CP 3355)
Snorlax doesn't have any evolutions, at least not yet. (Spoiler: There's a baby Munchlax coming eventually!). But that doesn't make it any less powerful. There are, in point of fact, few Pokémon as well rounded when it comes to both attack and defense as Snorlax. It doesn't
quite have the HP of Blissey, but it has a higher CP potential, and that puts it at the very top of a lot of Gyms. It's old Zen Headbutt + Body Slam moveset might be legacy now, but Zen Headbutt + Hyper Beam works as well as ever.
6. Tyranitar (Max CP 3670)
Hailed as the new Dragonite, Tyranitar doesn’t disappoint with his excellent stats all around and his ability to be somehow even harder to obtain than Dragonite. Bite, its best quick move, takes care of common defenders like Gengar and Exeggutor while Stone Edge deals an incredible amount of damage to the many common Fire types.
7. Eevee (Max CP 969 )
Eevee is an adorable fox-like Pokémon who has the potential to evolve into one of three other Strong Pokémon: Vaporeon (a Water-type), Flareon (a Fire-type), and Jolteon (an Electric-type). And with the Johto update live, you have two more options, Espeon (a Psychic-type) and Umpeon (a Dark-type). Pokémon GO also lets you capture Eevees and evolve them into their elemental alter-egos. In addition, there are futher evoluton in gen 4 and gen 6.
8. Shiny Pokemon
A Shiny Pokémon previously officially known as alternate coloration or rare coloration, and called Color Pokémon in Pokémon Stadium 2, is a specific Pokémon with different coloration to what is usual for its species. It is one of the many differences that a Pokémon can have within its species. At current time, only shiny magikarp and gyarados available in pokemon go.
9. Unown (Max CP 1022)
This elusive Pokémon is aptly named as not much is known about it. It is known that Unown cannot be hatched from an egg, so it has to be caught in the wild. It seems that Unown only spawns in very specific areas, though no one has discovered the connection between these locations. On top of that, there are actually 28 different varieties of Unown that can be obtained making each variety the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon GO that can be obtained.
10. Ampharos (Max CP 2695)
With great Stamina and Attack stats, Ampharos should eventually become a fixture in Pokemon gyms around the country. Although it has below average Defense, Ampharos has the second highest Stamina stat of any Electric-Type Pokemon, so it can absorb a bit of damage when attacking gyms. We haven't seen Ampharos in wide play yet, probably due to the relative rarity of its preevolved form Mareep.
