Top 10 Highest Attack Pokemon (Gen 1 and Gen 2 )
1. Alakazam
CP | 2887 |
ATK | 271 |
DEF | 194 |
STA | 110 |
Alakazam can be an excellent attacker, considered Tier 1 and top 10 on several lists. That's about all Alakazam is good for, however. Don't waste it on defense.
2. Dragonite
CP | 3581 |
ATK | 263 |
DEF | 201 |
STA | 182 |
If you want a Pokémon that can rip through the early defenses of an enemy gym to expose the heavy hitters at the top, Dragonite is the Pokémon you want to lead with.
Dragonite can also play defense if you need it to. Like any endgame Pokémon inPokémon Go, Dragonite is a multi-purpose fighter. Try to keep Dragonite available for offense, however, rather than slotting it into a gym defender position.
3. Gengar
CP | 2619 |
ATK | 261 |
DEF | 156 |
STA | 120 |
Don't bother fielding Gengar as a defender unless you have to, but with the right moves Gengar can give even proper endgame Pokémon a hard time during a gym battle.
4. Espeon
CP | 3000 |
ATK | 261 |
DEF | 194 |
STA | 130 |
Espeon can be a good answer to Fighting types, just steer away from Heracross, who can do twice the damage with Megahorn and Struggle Bug, and Gengar with its Ghost typing and high attack stat.
5.Tyranitar
CP | 3670 |
ATK | 251 |
DEF | 212 |
STA | 200 |
Hailed as the new Dragonite, Tyranitar doesn’t disappoint with his excellent stats all around and his ability to be somehow even harder to obtain than Dragonite. Bite, its best quick move, takes care of common defenders like Gengar and Exeggutor while Stone Edge deals an incredible amount of damage to the many common Fire types.
6. Flareon
CP | 2904 |
ATK | 246 |
DEF | 204 |
STA | 130 |
There are only five Pokemon (not included legendary pokemon) with higher Attack Stats than Flareon in all of
Pokemon Go. With access to the best moveset, Flareon would probably be the most useful of all the Eeveelutions...if not for a woefully low Stamina stat. It's low HP means that it's not a very good gym defender, but don't be afraid to pull Flareon out when you want to quickly clear through the opening levels of a gym.7. Kingler
CP | 2694 |
ATK | 240 |
DEF | 214 |
STA | 110 |
Sitting in fifth is Kingler, the evolved form of the relatively common Krabby. While Kingler's not typically seen in Pokemon gyms, its strong attack stat gives it some use as a gym attacker. Unlike most of the other Pokemon on this list, Kingler's best move is X-Scissor, a Bug-Type attack, so ping out Kingler when you need to attack a gym filled with Psychic or Dark-type Pokemon.
8. Pinsir
CP | 2770 |
ATK | 238 |
DEF | 197 |
STA | 130 |
Pinsir is extremely common to catch, which means the chances of you finding a strong one greatly increases. Also another benefit is that Pinsir doesn’t evolve therefore; you can easily use all the Pinsir candies to power one up.
9. Gyarados
CP | 3281 |
ATK | 237 |
DEF | 197 |
STA | 190 |
The fifth strongest (CP without legendary pokemon) Pokemon in
Pokemon Go,Gyarados is a fearsome attacker that can ravage the lower levels of most Pokemon gyms with ease. Unfortunately, it's also a major pain to get a Gyarados, as players typically need to capture 126 Magikarp to get enough candy to get a single Gyarados.10. Scizor
CP | 2801 |
ATK | 236 |
DEF | 191 |
STA | 140 |
Scizor is a mixed bag in Pokemon GO, mostly due to it’s moveset potential. Its’ Max CP is not too shabby and its stats are far better than Scyther ever had.
