老照片：1860年的北京，火燒前的圓明園

這組照片選自意大利人費利斯·比托（Felice Beato）跟隨英法聯軍攻佔北京時所拍攝，他是英軍的隨軍攝影師，被譽為軍事報道攝影的先驅者之一。這組照片是目前我們所能見到的最早的關於北京的老照片。原圖注：First View seen in Pekin Taken from Antin Gate, October 1860。直譯為：從安定門看北京城，攝於1860年10月。這裡應該是雍和宮。
